If your business offers appointments where more than one person can sign up for a single time slot, then you are going to love using Classes. Essentially classes are group based appointments which allow for a capacity of anywhere from 2 to 1000+. What you can do with this spans the spectrum from offering a yoga class for up to 10 clients to book into to offering a webinar for up to 100 clients to join.

Adding and managing the schedule for classes works somewhat differently than the way you add in a schedule for offering services, which are 1-on-1 appointments in TimeTap. The times that classes are going to be offered are pre-determined by a staff person based on the schedule that you set up for a class.

So, say you are a professional dog trainer who offers a class to dog owners called "The Basics" where owners can learn how to get their dogs to do basic things like sit, stay, stop barking, etc. You offer this class every Monday night from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. In this scenario, the class name is "The Basics" and the schedule is every Monday, starting July 13th, 2015 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Each time the class meets is called a session, so you have a session on July 13th, July 20th, July 27th, etc. that repeats over the schedule that is set up.
