Edit Invoice's main information
All invoices on your account are assigned to a client who is expected to pay on that invoice. There is a date that the invoice was issued that is also considered part of the main information around that invoice. All that information is highlighted in the screenshot below:
To edit this information, all you need to do is click the "Edit" button in the top right:
This will make all the fields on the top portion of the screen editable. You can update the client's address and that will be reflected back on the client's profile view:
You can also change the Date Issued. Please note that this is not the same as the date that displays in the "History" tab of the invoice as the created date. This could be a past or future date and can change without affecting the history of when the invoice was actually created.
Once you are done making changes, just press the "Save Edits" button in the top right of the view:
Once you save the changes, the screen will update to view only with the changes you made in place:
