Adding a new RPA on a specific child account

Staff transitions happen all the time. When they do, TimeTap account Administrators have the ability to add those new RPAs quickly without missing a beat. In this documentation, we will cover all of the steps of adding a new Empower Associate, including all of the settings that could apply.

You will want to start by going to Settings > Empower Associates and click Add New Empower Associate

From here, you will be taken to step one of the process, Name and Credentials.

This page will require 3 fields to be completed before clicking Continue:

  1. Empower Associate person's full name–this will be the name they go by which will appear to Participants
  2. Security Access–this is what level of access this Empower Associate should have to the account.
  3. Username–this should coordinate with the CIRRUS username of the RPA you're adding. If this RPA is listed on several child accounts, you will enter their username and then add a ".[business ID]" at the end. For example, if Jane Jones's username is jnjns@gwl.com, but Jane has access to 3 child accounts, you would designate Jane's third username as jnjns@gwl.com.239974 (if Jane's third account were for AlabamaRetire).

Click Continue to move on.

On the next page of the flow, Contact Information, you will add the RPA's email address in order for them to receive appointment notifications (and mobile number if known), then click Continue.

On the Details page (page 3 of the Add Empower Associate flow), nothing is required, but you have 4 optional choices to make:

  1. Profile Picture: You can add this now, or allow the RPA to add this later if they'd like to.
  2. Empower Associate Bio: You can add this now, or allow the RPA to add this later if they'd like to.
  3. Timezone: If you know the RPA's timezone, it's a good idea to add this for them now in order to eliminate any confusion off the bat.
  4. Meetings this empower associate will offer: Any meetings this RPA should have access to should be selected in this list.

When you're all set here, click Continue to be taken to the Confirmation page where you will see all of the information you have entered.

On this page, once you have checked everything over, click Submit. You can leave the box next to Send Empower Associate Welcome Message deselected, as that will simply offer the Empower Associate a link to login, but Empower Associates log in through Single Sign On, so that message isn't necessary.Â
